The new DRIVE IV is a CD transport of the absolute reference class and works according to the top-loader principle. The unit is designed exclusively to play CDs, CD-Rs, CD-RWs in uncompromising quality.
The new star of the ACCUSTIC ARTS® top series is beyond doubt the PLAYER III. As well as being an excellent CD player, at the same time the PLAYER III can also be used as an external DA converter equipped with a coaxial and asynchronous USB input for HD audio and DSD. These inputs allow the connection, for example, of a laptop, MAC or computer, or any other digital source device.
The PLAYER IV is an absolutely top-class CD player and D/A converter and the successor of the famous PLAYER II – MK2. For the CD module, the new CD Pro-8 as the replacement of the legendary Philips CDPro2 finds application.
The important features of the PLAYER IV include 4 digital inputs (XLR, coaxial, optical and USB) and the USB input works according to the latest asynchronous DSD256 technology.
The PLAYER IV is not only a top class CD TOP Loader, but also an externally usable D / A converter, which has both a coaxial and an asynchronous USB input for HD audio and DSD. Via these inputs, e.g. a laptop, MAC or PC, but also another digital source device.
The heart of the PLAYER IV is the new CD Pro-8 transport, which has been embedded in a massive, resonance-optimized ALU block. The excellent sounding D / A converter used in the PLAYER II works on the sophisticated 32/384 upsampling principle. For optimal connection, the PLAYER IV therefore has symmetrical outputs.
Within its compact chassis, CD15 Prisma features a slot load dedicated CD drive with Prismacontrol and connectivity technology feeding a carefully crafted DAC stage and finely tuned analog output stage, allowing for full featured digital music playback from either stored or streamed media, as well as multi-room multi-zone capabilities. Connect a pair of powered speakers to its variable output and CD15 Prisma forms the heart of a complete compact digital music system.

For those who wish to have a player dedicated solely to CD playback, CD35 is available, without Prisma control and connectivity technology, but with the same extraordinary drive, DAC and output stage as the CD35 Prisma. Prisma technology can be added as a plug-in module at a later date.
